When artists visited Skyline Jazz for interviews, they were often invited to record station identifications such as:

“Hi, this is Randy Brecker and Michael Brecker, and you're listening to Skyline Jazz on Cable Stereo 106.3.”

Over time, Skyline Jazz built a large library of these station IDs, which were played between music selections throughout the broadcast day. They helped connect the artists and their music directly to the Skyline Jazz listening experience while giving the station a distinctive personality.

Although nearly a hundred station IDs were recorded, only nine original Skyline Jazz station ID recordings are known to survive today. These recordings have been preserved and digitized from the original archive and are presented here for historical purposes.
